How to run this properly

Short, honest guides. No filler, no affiliate links, and nothing that promises numbers we cannot measure. Every step names the button you will press, and where a feature has a limit, the guide says so.

Getting set up, in about fifteen minutes

The same four you will see on your dashboard the first time you sign in. The first two take a minute each, and neither of them needs the extension.

Create your account, and pick your plan

Create your account on the sign-in page - a 6-digit code to your inbox proves the email is yours, and that is where your password gets set; there is no licence key to type anywhere. If sign-up is momentarily invitation-only, write to support@sellfalcon.com and we'll set you up (one line about what you sell helps us help you faster). Once you are in, your plan lives in Settings: every price is shown before anything is charged, and a plan with a free trial says so on its card.

Create your account

Connect your eBay account

Sign in at sellfalcon.com, open Settings → Stores, and press Connect an eBay store. You approve it on eBay's own page and come straight back. There is nothing to paste - no developer keys, no tokens, no application ids. Your eBay password never touches us; eBay hands us a token for your account and that is all we hold.

This one step is what turns the tool on: publishing, order sync, messages, returns, the daily supplier watch and the profit figures all run from it, on our servers, with your computer off.

Bring in some products

Two ways, and you can use both:

  • Paste an AliExpress link. On Products to list, press Add a product and paste one link or several - SellFalcon fetches each product itself, on its own servers, with its photos, variants and prices. No extension needed.
  • Already selling on eBay? Press Sync products from eBay on Inventory and your whole store comes in. Then Link suppliers in bulk pairs your existing listings with their AliExpress products so the daily price and stock check can watch them.

Edit it and put it live

Open the product in the listing editor. The AI writes the title, the description and the item specifics - on our key, not yours, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to paste. Set your margin, check the profit the editor shows you, and publish to your eBay account.

The extension: what it is actually for

SellFalcon's extension is a bridge, not the tool. It does the one job a server cannot: reading an AliExpress product page inside a browser you are logged in to, for the products the paste route cannot fetch. It signs itself in from the session this website already has, so there is no second password.

You do not need it to start. Everything above - your account, your eBay connection, pasting AliExpress links, editing and publishing - works without it, and most sellers never install it at all. It matters only for the occasional AliExpress product the paste route cannot fetch.

One honest difference. The AI writing on this website runs on our key, with nothing for you to supply. The extension's own AI buttons still ask for a free key of your own, pasted into its settings, because they predate that arrangement. You never need them: bring the product to the website and the writing there is ours.

  • Settings shows your eBay account connected, and the eBay reads card says what it can see
  • A pasted AliExpress link turns into a draft in Products to list
  • Your first listing is live on eBay and shows on the dashboard with its supplier cost recorded
  • The bar above Inventory says how many of your listings are being watched daily

Your first listing in about ten minutes

From an empty account to a live eBay listing, using only the website. The browser extension is not needed for any step here.

  1. Create your account. On the sign in page pick First time here, press Send me a code, type the six digit code from your email and choose a password. While open sign-up is switched off this works for invited emails, and the page says so plainly.
  2. Pick a plan. In Settings, open Account & Billing. Every price you see comes straight from our payment provider, so the page cannot disagree with what your card is charged, and a plan card says whether it carries a free trial and for how many days. Nothing is charged without the price on screen first.
  3. Connect eBay. In Settings, open the Stores tab and press Connect an eBay store. You sign in on eBay's own page, so SellFalcon never sees your eBay password.
  4. Add your product. On the dashboard open Products to list and press Add a product. Paste the product link, or just the product number, up to 5 at a time. SellFalcon fetches each product itself and the draft lands in the list in seconds, with its photos, variants and prices.
  5. Open the editor. Press Edit draft on the draft.
  6. Let the AI engine write the words. Press Write 3 titles and pick the one you like. On the Description tab, press Write description with AI: it writes only from the product's own facts, and one press puts your old text back if you prefer it.
  7. Check the price and profit. On the Pricing card the supplier cost is already filled in from AliExpress. Pick a profit target and press Work out my price, or type your own price. A price you type is the price: the presets only fill the box in for you and never override what you typed. The profit for that price shows right beside it.
  8. Publish. In the Publish panel pick the eBay account, press Check with eBay if you want eBay to check the listing first, then press Publish to eBay. A success dialog shows the live listing with its item number and one-press copy buttons.

Good to know. Nothing goes live until you press Publish. The AI tools in the editor, the extension and your team all draw from one hourly allowance set by your plan, and the editor shows how much of it is left before you press.

Connecting your eBay account

One connection, made once, is what lets SellFalcon work with your browser closed.

  1. Open Settings and pick the Stores tab.
  2. Press Connect an eBay store.
  3. Sign in on eBay's own page and approve the connection. SellFalcon never sees your eBay password; the connection is stored encrypted, and you can disconnect at any time, here or from your eBay account's own connected apps settings.

With the connection made, SellFalcon can:

  • Sync your orders on its own, about once an hour, around the clock, together with your order notes, returns and cases, buyer questions, messages and listing traffic. The Check eBay now button on the dashboard asks straight away instead of waiting, and it only reads.
  • Pull your active listings in with one press: Sync products from eBay on the Inventory tab.
  • Publish listings from the web editor straight to your eBay account.
  • Write price and stock changes to eBay from our servers, so repricing keeps working with your browser closed.

Good to know. The browser extension is optional here: it handles the jobs that need a logged-in browser, and the install guide shows how to set it up if you want it. And SellFalcon only ever does what is on the list above. It never places an order with your supplier for you, and it never sends anything to a buyer on its own: a reply leaves only when you press Send yourself.

Understanding your real profit

SellFalcon would rather show you a blank than a wrong number. These are the rules every profit figure in the tool follows.

  1. Profit counts only orders whose supplier cost is known. The dashboard says how many orders were left out because their cost is unknown, instead of quietly counting them as if they cost nothing.
  2. An unknown cost shows as "?" and is never treated as zero. The same rule holds across the tool: a total or fee eBay has not reported shows as absent, not as £0.00.
  3. eBay fees are used as eBay reports them. Until eBay reports the real fee, the figure is worked out from your fee model and wears a small est. mark, and any earnings or profit built on an estimated fee wears the same mark.
  4. Supplier costs can be read from the notes you already keep on eBay. Type the source price, the AliExpress order number and the tracking number, comma separated, as the private note on your eBay order (for example "2.63, 3075498594368502") and the hourly sync reads it by itself. Read notes from eBay on the Orders card reads them right now. A cost read this way is labelled note, so you can always tell it from one you typed.
  5. A typed value always wins. Type a supplier cost on an order in SellFalcon and no note sync can ever overwrite your correction.
  6. Half a cost is no cost. If only some items on a multi-item order carry a readable note, the order stays "?" with the reason shown, because half a cost would quietly overstate the profit.

Good to know. An order with a return open stops counting as clean profit until the return is settled. And the tracking number inside a note is read, stored and shown, but never sent to eBay by itself: attaching tracking to an order is always your own press, one order at a time.

Inviting your VA or team

Give a VA or a teammate their own sign in to your workspace, with a role that fits the work.

  1. Open Settings and pick Users & Team. The seat meter at the top says how many seats your plan includes and how many are in use.
  2. Type your teammate's email, pick a role, VA for day-to-day work or Admin if they may also change settings, and press Invite.
  3. Tell them how to get in, because no email is sent: they open the sign in page, pick First time here with the invited address, and choose their own password.
  4. They now work inside your workspace: the same dashboard, orders and reports you see, under your plan.

What the roles mean, plainly:

  • VA: the day-to-day work. The dashboard, queued actions such as reprices, dispatch and drafts, monthly reports, invoices and Business details. No settings and no team changes.
  • Admin: everything a VA can do, plus the Supplier, Automations, Keywords and Notifications settings. Only you, the workspace owner, manage the team.

Good to know. Their work stays with the workspace: removing a member removes their sign in, but everything they did lives in your workspace, so nothing is lost. Team accounts work on this website only, so the extension, your eBay connection and your company files stay yours alone.
